BBT TUNNEL WORLD

This 800 sqm Infopoint serves as an information centre for the local population, a starting point for guided tours of the construction sites and also hosts an interactive exhibition.

Tunnel World extends over two floors and inside there is a actual piece of tunnel, numerous interactive exhibits for everyone, and a special area for technical experts in the field.

INFOPOINT IN THE FORTRESS

The Infopoint in the Hapsburg Fortress in Fortezza is maintained by the Observatory for the Environment and Safety in the Workplace. The Observatory’s main task is oversight of the works in the Italian project area, focussing on environmental and safety issues during construction.

The Infopoint includes a 200 sqm exhibition on the Brenner Base Tunnel and, in addition to providing information on the project, is also the starting point for visits to the construction sites.

PERMANENT EXHIBITION

A single exhibition area with constantly changing content.

In the southern gallery in Innsbruck’s main railway station, a permanent exhibition provides information on the Brenner Base Tunnel project and the Munich-Verona railway axis.

Nine backlit photos, changed every three months, highlight changing issues related to the project.

Opening hours:
the exhibition is open to the public every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
